# xAQUA

**xAQUA is the escrowed counterpart to AQUA, a non-transferable token that represents 1 unit of AQUA held in escrow.**

xAQUA lets you unlock the full Atlantis plugin suite: real yield through Treasures and Trident Vaults, governance rights, access to exclusive Launchpad sales, and revenue share from each sale. 

It can also be slowly vested back into AQUA over time, promoting a healthier, more sustainable flow of liquidity and reducing abrupt market pressure.

In addition, xAQUA is central to our emissions model. Farming rewards are distributed 80% in xAQUA and 20% in AQUA, ensuring that incentives align with long-term participation and discouraging short-term speculation.
