# Genesis Program

As we’re finally live on Sonic Mainnet, we’re excited to unveil one of the key components of our launch strategy: the **Genesis Pools**.

These pools represent a mechanism to kickstart deep, sustainable liquidity across core Sonic’s trading pairs while giving our early supporters a chance to earn boosted rewards from day one.\

### What Are Genesis Pools?

**Genesis Pools** are short-term, high-incentive liquidity pools designed to run for **10 days**, starting from **mainnet launch** and concluding with the **TGE.**

They are meant to do two things:

1. Bootstrap core liquidity for key Sonic-native tokens.
2. Reward our earliest liquidity providers with exclusive access to a one-time, high-yield opportunity, distributed in [xAQUA.](/xaqua.md)

To properly incentivize these pools, **2.5% of the total xAQUA supply** will be allocated as farming rewards.

These rewards:

* Will be distributed **exclusively in xAQUA**, our escrowed token.
* Will be **claimable only after TGE** (Token Generation Event), once the program concludes.
* Will be distributed proportionally based on your share of the liquidity provided during the 10-day period

### Partners

Genesis Pools won’t be limited to core Sonic-native pairs like wS/USDC. We’re also including **strategic pools tied to Atlantis key launch partners**, such as **Beefy Finance, Origin Protocol, and Beets**. These partnerships are central to our end-to-end vision, and Genesis Pools are an opportunity to deepen their integration into Atlantis while offering LPs access to high-yield incentives on main pairs.

The full list of Genesis Pools will be the following:

### Key Details:

* **Program Duration:** 10 Days (from mainnet launch to AQUA public sale)
* **Total xAQUA Rewards:** 2.5% of total supply
* **Reward Token:** xAQUA
* **Claimable:** After the end of the program (post-TGE)
* **Who Can Participate:** Anyone who provides liquidity to the eligible pools on Atlantis
